Enhanced Effect Tutorial - The Steps

  • Firstly, duplicate your first layer twice. The easiest thing to do is use the shortcut: CTRL/Command + J - set the first duplicated layer to Screen and change the opacity to 20% - to do that, go to your layers pallet.
  • Go to the second duplicated layer and set it to Overlay and the opacity to 50%
  • Now download this file and save it somewhere easy to find.
  • Now go -> Layer -> New Adjustment Layers -> Curves -> Load - search for the file you just downloaded, select it and press OK.
  • Now go -> Layer -> New Adjustment Layers -> Color Balance - change your settings so that they match my own.
  • And now go -> Layers -> New Adjustment Layers -> Selective Color - change your settings so they match mine: click, click & click. Once that’s all done, click OK.
